The barren limestone and slate soils, as well as the significant temperature differences between day and night, lend the wine an exceptionally precise and mineral style. As a "Grosse STK Lage" (GSTK), the Hochstermetzberg stands for uncompromising origin character and great aging potential. The 2020 vintage produced particularly clear and profound Rieslings.
